Responsible for the conduct of all phases of municipal purchasing, requests for bids and proposals, and financial administration of contracts and procurement regulations.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certified Municipal Finance Officer Certification is required within 18 months of employment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and two years’ experience; or ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CMFO program and state-specific training in procurement may count towards education.
